Information about Creekside Neighborhood…
Including its Home Owners Association (HOA), and how to register with the HOA if you do move to our beautiful and friendly neighborhood.
Creekside is located eight (8) miles south of the center of the City of Aiken. We have just under 140 private, individual residences. The entrance to the community is off Glenwood Drive with easy access to the City of Aiken via Silver Bluff Road, a half mile for the neighborhood.
Having a Home Owners Association, we are governed by a Covenant with ByLaws. The HOA is recognized under the laws of South Carolina and can set certain rules which must be followed by all residents. An elected board of up to nine (9) people is chosen by vote of the membership (one vote per residence) at an annual meeting. The officers are a president, vice president, secretary and treasurer, with up to five additional board members at large. By purchasing a residence in Creekside, someone automatically becomes a member of HOA. All residents are encouraged to participate in the Association, including attending annual meetings and possibly running for one of the positions on the Board.
Please note that all residents are obligated to pay HOA dues, presently $170 per year, whether or not they participate in the activities and governance of the neighborhood association. The dues are payable by March 31st of each year. If you join, you can find all sorts of additional information about your new neighborhood.
